Yes, that headline is factually accurate and it's not even being hyperbolic either.

A grown man has eaten pages from a book on Sky News in the middle of discussion surrounding the recent election results from the United Kingdom. Matthew Goodwin, who is a professor of politics at the University of Kent, made the bold assertion several days ago that he would eat his book if Labour, under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, polled above 38%.

As it turns out, Labour polled at 40.3% meaning that Goodwin was going to have to literally eat his words. And that's exactly what happened today on Sky News.

A man ate a book on live television. 2017 has officially lost the run of itself.

Take a look.
