Now that we're into the final days of Christmas, you're no doubt whittling away at the shopping list and flying around Dublin trying to get everything sorted.

13th of December - SEE THE BROWN THOMAS WINDOW IN DUBLIN

It's a Dublin institution and you can't visit Dublin without seeing it.

 

14th of December - THE LIGHTS OF HENRY STREET

From Capel Street all the way down to the Spire, the Henry and Mary Street's lights are brand new this year. Featuring 750,000 sparkling LEDs and giant red bows, at night they are a beautiful walkway through the city.

 

15th of December - THE LIGHTS OF GRAFTON STREET

Well, if it's on the North Side, there's got to be one on the South Side. Grafton Street's lights display are just as gorgeous as ever this year.

 

16th of December - GO SEE A PANTO

Oh no, you won't. OH YES YOU WILL. With lots of pantos in the city in great Dublin institutions, such as the Gaiety and the Olympia, you are spoiled for choice.

 

17th of December - GO SEE THE CHAMBER CHOIR AT CHRISTCHURCH CATHEDRAL

Do not, however, attempt to sing with the Chamber Choir unless you're Adele or something.

 

18th of December - GO FOR A PINT IN J. GROGAN'S

They also do the best ham-and-cheese toastie in South Inner City Dublin. Fact.

 

19th of December - VISIT SANTA AT EASON'S IN O'CONNELL STREET

This Santa's doling out books for kids, so make sure to get along!

 

20th of December - FIND THAT SPECIAL IRISH DESIGNER GIFT AT POWERSCOURT SHOPPING CENTRE

Some of the very best in Irish craft and design is in Powerscourt and if you want something unique, you'll find it there.

 

21st of December - GET YOUR CHRISTMAS WREATH ON MOORE STREET

If you can't find your Christmas Wreath here on Moore Street, you're not going to find it anywhere.

 

22nd of December - TAKE A WALK AROUND DUBLIN AND DROP YOUR BAGS OFF

There's three - count them, THREE - Shop 'N Drop locations in Dublin once you're done getting the last few bits and bobs, you can dump the bags and take a stroll around and pick them up when you're ready. Even better, there's a FREE gift wrapping service at Clery's and St. Stephen's Green Shopping Centre with donations going to Inner City Homeless.

 

23rd of December - TAKE A SELFIE AT THE CLERY'S WINDOW

If you saw the Brown Thomas window, you need to see the Clery's Window. It's a fact.

24th of December - GET A HORSE & CART AROUND DUBLIN

It's the only way to see Dublin and who knows, you might even see the big man himself somewhere along the way!
