Entertainment.ie employs a talented, professional team of editorial staff members who provide all the Latest Music, Movie and Celebrity Gossip News, and Album, Movie Reviews, TV hightlights, Competitions and Caughtout Photo Galleries.
Sheena McGinley | Senior Editor
Sheena joined entertainment.ie in 2003, and has been managing the Editorial team for the last three years. She's responsible for writing celebrity news and social commentary articles, TV previews and reviews, and articles for our exclusives section. She has been a regular contributor on radio stations including Spin, Dublin's 98, Beat FM, Red FM, Phantom, Newstalk, and 2FM, as well as working on pilots for RTE and 3e, and appearing on several TV3 shows. Sheena has had the pleasure of undertaking a number of 'on camera' Red Carpet Premiere and Film Junket interviews, both at home and abroad..
Mike Sheridan | Film Editor
Mike Sheridan is a Film School Graduate, who began working for entertainment.ie in 2006. Anointed Film Editor in late 2007, he oversees all things cinematic, including movie reviews, movie news, features and more. He has interviewed some of the biggest names in Hollywood as part of entertainment.ie's movie exclusive and eiTV sections. A regular contributor to various radio shows, including 'Culture Shock' on Newstalk and 'Cinerama' on Phantom, he is also the film correspondent for the RTE 2 television series, 'Two Tube'.
Jenny Mulligan | Music Editor
After graduating from D.I.T.'s BA in Media Arts, Jenny began working with entertainment.ie in late 2007. As well as looking after entertainment.ie's daily music news, album reviews, music features and interviews, gig and clubbing previews and festival coverage, Jenny is a regular radio contributor on Spin 103.8's Saturday magazine show 'Plan B' and Dublin's 98's 'Totally Irish', and also presents all-Irish music show 'The National Express' on Dublin City FM.
David Bryan | Senior Content Editor
David graduated with a BA Hons Degree in Audio Visual Media from ITT Dublin and has been with entertainment.ie since 2004. As well as having a wide and varied career in radio, video and multimedia, David oversees content delivery on the entertainment.ie. He also manages promotional campaigns, competitions, event listings, new movie trailers, and supervises the design of our movie features in the exclusives section, as well as all of our newsletters.
John Balfe | Entertainment Reviewer
John is a graduate of IADT Dun Laoghaire and the New York Film Academy, where he spent many hours huddled in a dark corner writing a feature-length screenplay about a fictional Rock Paper Scissors world championship. He has been with Entertainment.ie for two years, contributing all manner of interviews, news stories, reviews, feature articles and more for the music and film departments. John also oversees the music listings database, as well as the comedy, exhibition and theatre previews.
Alicia Coyle | Social Editor
Alicia is a graduate of Rathmines College where she studied Journalism and Media, she also has a Diploma in Event Management and PR. She has been working in Entertainment.ie for 3 years, contributing Celebrity Gossip stories, writing Soap Previews, managing the photo galleries and our successful eiTV video section. Alicia has interviewed many stars who have jetted in for film premieres, social events and film festivals. As well as contributing to the editorial team, Alicia manages all our promotional campaigns and sponsorship, PR and co-ordinates all photography shoots and external events.
Baz Nugent | Cinema Listings
The latest addition to the entertainment.ie editorial team, Baz brought his talents, including a Grad.Dip in Journalism and Media, to our door in September 2009. Baz currently co-ordinates the cinema scheduling for our national cinema listings. He's also involved in the inputting of all up coming movie previews, and writes event previews as part of the listings department, as well as oversees our all-important festival listings database.
