THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS IN CONCERT

Coming to The O2 for one night only, The RTÉ Concert Orchestra present Peter Jackson’s epic continuation of The Lord of the Rings trilogy ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers’. Saturday October 28th is the date for your diary, and you better move fast to avoid disappointment as the previous showing of The Fellowship of the Ring was phenomenally successful. Featuring the full RTÉ Concert Orchestra and chorus, The Two Towers will be performed beneath an immense screen in the O2, as the orchestra and singers bring to life the music of Middle Earth and the score by Howard Shore in what promises to be an unforgettable event.
The RTÉ Concert Orchestra has had a special place in Irish musical life for over 60 years, with a range that sees them equally at home in classical, opera, jazz, film, rock and traditional music. In recent years the RTÉ CO has developed a popular series of film screenings with live performance of the orchestral score. Highlights of these screenings to date have included The Wizard of Oz, Casablanca, Psycho, Bugs Bunny on Broadway, as well as appearances at music festivals around the country and regular programmes in the National Concert Hall. If you've always wanted to hear a full orchestra but wanted something familiar and unique, this one's for you.
Tickets from €39.50 - €69.50 on sale now via Ticketmaster. (additional service charges may apply).
