Phantom Of The Opera star returns to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre for one night only

Fancy some Christmas movie and musical classics, belted out by the Phantom of the Opera himself John Owen-Jones? Then get yourself down to An Evening of Movies & Musicals at Christmas, taking place this Monday December 17th in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Having wowed over 75,00 people during the summer as the Phantom when it played in the BGE Theatre, John Owen-Jones has nothing but a stellar rep, and the welsh tenor can't wait to get back to Dublin. "There is always something very special about Irish audiences and the way they welcome you and make you feel at the end of a performance. I so much wanted to return to Dublin and when I was asked to sing some numbers in the Movies & Musicals show... as soon as I heard the word Dublin it was a done deal!"

Featuring much loved smash hits and well known themes and signature tunes from the movies and musicals, with accompaniment from the Irish Philharmonic Orchestra, Owen-Jones will also be joined by the Halleluia Gospel Choir, Robert Vickers from Wicklow who is currently starring in Les Misérables in London's West End and the stunning voice of Wexford's Maria Fitzgerald. A Christmas night of magic for movie and musical lovers, this one has everything for the family and shouldn't be missed. Get your Christmas off to a right lovely start.
