Musical theatre's Kerry Ellis and Queen's Brian May are coming to Dublin

Legendary Queen guitarist Brian May and musical theatre star Kerry Ellis are teaming up for an intimate candlelit acoustic show in Dublin's Olympia Theatre on the 30th June.
Back in May 2011, the pair took to London's Royal Albert Hall with the charity show Anthems: The Concert (benefiting Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research). Brian and Kerry then released their debut single, Defying Gravity and now they're going on tour with The Born Free Tour.
The show will feature new arrangements, which Brian has chosen to compliment Kerry's singing style. Talking about the show he said: "The challenge was to develop songs and arrangements to allow that amazing voice to reach its true potential."
Although it may seem like an unlikely pairing the two have a history of working together stretching back to 2002, when she originated the role of Meat in We Will Rock You on the West End. Here they are performing their rocked up version of Defying Gravity at The Royal variety Performance in 2008:
Tickets: €36.50. On sale from the 1th February. For more information go to: www.olympia.ie
