Jesus Christ Superstar | Irish dates cancelled

The touring production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar has cancelled both of its Irish dates next month. The show stars Chris Moyles (King Herod), Mel C (Mary Magdalene), Tim Minchin (Judas) and Ben Forster, who won ITV's Superstar competition to land the lead role of the main man JC.
The iconic musical was due to come to Dublin's O2 on the 21st March and Belfast's Odyssey Arena on the 19th March however both of these dates have now been cancelled.
Aiken promotions had this to say: "Due to circumstances beyond their control RUG and AEG are rescheduling the Jesus Christ Superstar arena tour. This is due to the enormous demand across the globe with tours in Australia, Europe and USA to be announced soon."
"Unfortunately it has not been possible to reschedule the Belfast and Dublin shows original planned for 19 and 21 March respectively. Aiken Promotion would like to apologies to any inconvenience caused".
Refunds will be available form point of purchase.
