Fishamble's Tiny Plays for Ireland II coming March 2013

Tiny Plays for Ireland is back next year, taking over Project Arts Centre with 25 Tiny Plays from March 12th. Coinciding with Fishamble's 25th birthdaythe new plays, written by some well known and many first time playwrights, were chosen from over 1,700 plays submitted to the company in answer to a call out it made in partnership with The Irish Times. Performed by an ensemble cast, the three minute of less pieces reflect the issues people want brought to a public forum, and come from people from all ages and walks of life, including 8 and 80 year olds.
There's a whole lot of variety on show too, with all of the following lined up to perform:
Sanctuary by Liz Quinn; Weekend Abroad by Federico Storni; Ode to Life by Richie O’Sullivan; Hearts by Lucy Montague Moffatt; The Ramblers by Graham Stull; Soul Mates by Maeve Binchy; I Stand Here Before You by Tom Swift; Isolation by Joan Ryan; Blisters by Patrick O’Sullivan; The Straight Talk by Keith Farnan; Knowing by Geraldine McAlinden; Thorny Island by Sarah Binchy; Voices in the Tunnel by Garrett Keogh; Ground Meat by Conor Hanratty; Life in Two Syllables by Mike Finn; Light at the End of the Tunnel by Eleanor White; Naked Photographs of My Mother by Brendan Griffin; The Night Feed by Justine Mitchell; Phone Records by Kevin Gildea; The Cost of Your Forgetting by Henry Martin; Positive Protest by Christine McKeon; Grand Canal Dock by Tanya Wilson; Slanesman by Colum McCann; Somewhere by Mark Cantan.
