Drogheda Arts Festival 2012

Drogheda is the place to be this May bank holiday weekend. From 3rd – 7th May Drogheda will welcome a wealth of international and Irish productions and performers to celebrate the eighth Drogheda Arts Festival (DAF). This 5 day celebration will include visual arts, music, dance, a new theatre commission, family events and much more.
This year the Festival set out to celebrate the people and places of Drogheda, inviting people in the town to submit their own favourite memories of the town, which will be used in marketing and promotional material for the Festival. This theme of celebrating stories and memories can be found throughout the 2012 Festival line up.
Celebrations will take place in Drogheda from the 3rd to the 7th of May, with focus turning, on the Bank Holiday Monday, to historic Oldbridge House, at the Battle of the Boyne site, just outside the town.
