Dolly Parton's 9 to 5: The Musical coming to Dublin

Get ready for a whole lot of glitz and glamour, as the musical adaptation of Dolly Parton's breakout film and hit song 9 to 5 comes to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in the new year. This one is definitely set to brighten up your dreary January. Running for one week only, 9 to 5: The Musical follows the plot of the movie and centers on three office workers who turn the tables on their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot of a boss and features new material from Parton written specifically for the show as well as classic Dolly numbers "Backwoods Barbie”, “Shine Like the Sun”, “Get Out and Stay Out” and “Let Love Grow” and of course "9 to 5".

This UK and Ireland tour stars Natalie Casey, of BBC's Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps fame, Jackie Clune and Amy Lennox as the three office workers trying to turn their lives around in the face of Ben Richard's nasty boss. Doctor Who alum and West End star Bonnie Langford also stars as Richard's love-lorn assistant. This Tony and Grammy nominated show is set to be an absolute blinder, if in sequins alone. Tickets priced from €20 are available now for shows from Monday 21st to Saturday 26th January 2013.
