Body and Forgetting to make its full-length debut in the Abbey

Liz Roche Company's Body and Forgetting, which made a smaller, shorter debut at last years Dublin Dance Festival and won over critics and audience members alike, is set to make it's full-length premiere this January 28th in nowhere less than The Abbey Theatre before touring the country throughout the month of February.

Marrying live performance and multimedia, Body and Forgetting tackles the complexities of disappearance, loss, relationship and hope in what our reviewer desscribed as 'a hauntingly subtle piece'.

Premiering at The Abbey Theatre on the Peacock stage is no small task, but it's one that Liz Roche Company seem to able to take in their stride as after their production from January 29th to February 2nd, the work will then be performed at DanceXchange Birmingham Hippodrome, UK prior to an Irish tour to Longford, Sligo, Cork and Kilkenny on the 13th, 16th, 18th and 20th of February. And after a sell-out run at Dublin Dance Festival, you'll want to move pretty sharpish to get hands on some tickets.
