Bedroom Farce coming to The Gate this January

Coming to The Gate this January, Alan Ayckbourn's Tony Award-winning comedy Bedroom Farce runs with tagline "Three bedrooms, four couples and one hectic night.", leaving both very little and a lot to the imagination. Tackling middle-class marriage in all it's shapes and forms, with their pressures and problems all exposed as one monstrously selfish couple run amok in the lives of three others. Ayckbourn dices up all these variations in a sophistic comedy that is set to grip Irish audiences and have them rolling in the theatre aisles when it opens on Thursday January 31st.
Directed by Alan Stanford, with costume designer from the acclaimed Peter O’Brien and set design from Eileen Diss, both of whom worked together earlier this year on the Gate’s production of A Woman of no Importance. Joining them will be a stellar cast, including Stephen Brennan, Deirdre Donnelly, Garrett Lombard, Louis Lovett, Rory Nolan, Kathy Rose O’Brien, Aoibheann O’Hara & Lorna Quinn. And if you can't wait until the 31st, Bedroom Farce previews from January 25th, and tickets are available from €25.
