ABSOLUT Fringe Wildflowers performer Oguri to hold workshop in Dun Laoghaire

Coming to Dublin as part of ABSOLUT Fringe 2012, Wildflowers is a Herculean duet between world-renowned Japanese dance artist Oguri and percussionist Adam Rudolph. Combining dance and percussion in live theatre is a raw energetic experience, and Oguri and Rudolph’s production is no different, as they improv unique and captivating performances before your eyes. Outside of the show, Oguri and Morleigh Steinberg are holding a workshop for one day only on Saturday September 15th in the Dance Theatre of Ireland in Dun Laoghaire. A demanding attitude toward a thorough reexamination of the body and movement is a main theme in all the aspects of the training, while the workshop will feature explorations designed to sharpen focus and develop the scope of expression through the body.
