Not for
: people who get nervous at the thought of heights

This Is What We Do For A Living is a pillow-smacking good time. Literally. The comedy duo of Ken and Tina spend a good portion of the performance beating the stuffing out of some cushions, and I myself was victim to a rogue pillow in the face. There was no ill will or anger about it though as Tumble Circuses performance was so giddily watched and performed that you can’t help but love the antics that the two get up to.

Giving a small glimpse into the life they have led for the past 17 years as performers, Ken and Tina perform acrobatic routines with gusto, and it really is a wonder to behold. The small floor space of the Boys School at Smock Alley Theatre means you are right up in and sometimes under the action, which makes for a truly unique and thrilling ride. Get there early and get in the front row for a show you will not forget.
