If you've been to Electric Picnic in the past, you'll be aware that the Dublin Gospel Choir's Sunday morning set has become a staple of the festival.

Well, this year they'll have a bit of competition in the choral stakes as it's just been announced that the High Hopes Choir will be playing Electric Picnic, too.

If you're not aware of who the High Hopes Choir are, their journey and formation was documented in an RTE programme called 'High Hopes' last December. Its sixty members - split into two choirs - are comprised of people who have been touched by homelessness and were created by former principal conductor of the RTE Concert Orchestra, David Brophy.

Their setlist includes well-known contemporary songs by the likes of Coldplay, Cyndi Lauper and Kodaline, the band whose song gave them their name.

They'll perform in the Trailer Park of Electric Picnic.
