Last year's inaugural Longitude festival was one of the highlights of last year's festival season and this year looks like being no different. Disclosure, Ben Howards, Bastille, Haim, Le Galaxie, James Vincent McMorrow and looooads more have signed on the dotted to play this year.

Now, Marlay Park has already hosted five concerts so far this summer and we'd wager that more than a few of you reading this will have attended and figured out how to get there (and more importantly: how to get home) but below is some information that we hope you find useful.

Let's get on with this, shall we?

Do you have the stage times?

Yes, we do.

Any health & safety notices we should know about?

None beyond the usual fare you'd expect at an outdoor gig. There won't be any phone charging facilities on site, so if you're relying on contacting your mates while you're there, make sure your battery is as full as it can be. Don't try and bring any booze with you, or don't show up hammered as neither of these things will work out particularly well for you.

How should we get to Marlay Park?

Transport to and from the venue is a matter for individual ticket-holders, whether by means of car-pooling, cycling, walking, availing of Dublin Bus, the LUAS, by making an advance return booking on the Marathon Shuttle Bus, a private coach booking or by hiring a taxi.

I booked online, where do I get my ticket?

Credit Card collections will be located at the entrance off the Grange Road opposite Centre and Lidl.

Can I still buy a ticket?

Looks like it's sold out, we're afraid...

What's the weather going to be like?

It ain't looking great for Friday and Saturday, let's be honest. Sunday though could be a stormer. Dress appropriately!

Can I bring a deck chair, aerosol cans, fireworks or flares?

No, no, no and no. You also can't bring gas canisters, airhorns, glass, illegal substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’, laser equipment/pens, megaphones, nitrous oxide, sky or ‘chinese’ lanterns, sound systems, spray cans, tabards/high viz jackets, cans, umbrellas, flag poles, generators, and camping equipment including folding chairs. All items will be confiscated.

What does the place look like?

Something like this:

Anything else?

Look after yourselves out there!
