Former Talking Heads frontman and all-round musical genius David Byrne is working on another stage musical.

The Scottish-born musician had previously collaborated with Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim on 'Here Lies Love', a production based around the former First Lady of the Phillipines, Imelda Marcos. It was initially released as a concept album in 2010, before being developed into a rock musical in 2013.

In an interview in this week's NME, Byrne said that he is planning to bring another musical to the London stage next year - and it's based on another as-yet-undisclosed 'woman whose life is in the historical record'.

"I've got another one. No surprise," he said. "Time passes and because these things take so long, at some point when I realised it was doing well, and was an enjoyable experience and very moving and all that, I thought, 'Oh, while this is all getting worked out, I'll start another one', which is now written. The entire thing's written, and probably some songs will get rearranged or rewritten or whatever. So I'm talking to producers [in London] about bringing it here, I don’t know, in a year or so or something like that."
