After a series of rumours ranging from Garth Brooks, AC/DC and Metallica to Take That, U2 and Robbie Williams, it was confirmed this morning that The Script will play their biggest concert ever in Croke Park in 2015.

Following on from the release of their fourth studio album No Sound Without Silence last month and a homecoming concert in Dublin Castle that sold out in three minutes, Dublin natives The Script will play Croker on Saturday June 20th next year, with support from the one and only Pharrell Williams. Not really a surprise, seeing as they were the bookies favourites yesterday and got so popular a contender that they stopped taking bets. Pharrell Williams as support, however, is a surprise and one that we can all be happy about (sorry).

Tickets from €45 go on sale next Thursday at 9am, and if past shows are anything to go by, expect this to sell out mighty fast.

Let's just hope there's no license issues.
