With tickets for Electric Picnic going back on sale this morning, the first names for the 2017 festival have just been announced.
The first batch of names have been announced and The xx (Friday), A Tribe Called Quest (Saturday) and Duran Duran (Sunday) have been named as the headliners for this year's event.
They'll be joined at Stradbally from September 1st - 3rd by the likes of Chaka Khan, Pete Tong presents Ibiza Classics, Chaka Khan, Interpol, Phoenix, London Grammar, Run the Jewels, Father John Misty, The Pretenders, Rag 'n' Bone Man, The Divine Comedy, Soulwax, Annie Mac and Band of Horses.
Also on the bill are Michael Kiwanuka, Floating Points (solo live), Kiasmos, Vince Staples, Mano Le Tough, Young Fathers, Krept & Konan, Section Boys, Perfume Genius, Pond, Car Seat Headrest, Japandroids, Parquet Courts, Real Estate, Phantogram, All We Are, Hudson Taylor, Kelly Lee Owens, Goat Girl and many more to be announced.
Tickets are on sale from usual outlets now, and there is an installment plan in place for payments.
