The BARE festival will return to the grounds of Borris House in Co. Carlow this summer, and the first round of names for its 2018 line-up has just been revealed.

Playing the eclectic programme on July 6th and 7th are a number of Irish and international acts, including rapper Obie Trice, who will be performing with Kuniva D12 and Swifty D12.

Wicklow post-rockers God is an Astronaut will also play the 2018 edition, alongside Mayo folk man Seamus Fogarty and folk duo The Lost Brothers.

Kila, Natty Wailer, Cornerboy, Wolff, Tebi Rex and Mick Konstantin (who went viral with his Conor McGregor song) will also play, as well as Noel Hill (Planxty), The Pale, Quinton Campbell, Josh Coakley, Ri Ra, Mindriot, Exiles, Gemma Bradley, Ashley James, Sleep Thieves, CPNHGN, Katie Cassidy, Neomadic and Amber and the Bear.

Perhaps most unexpectedly, fashion guru Gok Wan will also be on hand to perform a DJ set.
