Electric Picnic headliners revealed

While we're still a couple of months away from a proper Electric Picnic timetable (expected late July/early August), but the good people at EP have given us a little taster of what's to come via their official Twitter account.

They have revealed the Sigur Ros will be playing on the Friday, while The Cure will headline the Saturday and Elbow and The Killers will be on Sunday's bill.

Christy Moore, Orbital, Hot Chip, The xx, Patti Smith and Azealia Banks are also among the acts who will play the Stradbally festival on the weekend of August 31st to September 2nd. Tickets are still available, with full information from the Electric Picnic website.

Sigur Rós play the Friday of EP. The Cure/Saturday. Elbow & The Killers/Sunday. All day by day details will be available in August.
