Arcade Fire surprised fans in Edinburgh last week by treating them to bonus songs after the main event at the city's Corn Exchange venue had ended.

Once Win Butler and co. had finished their main set and said goodnight from the main stage, they went into the venue's foyer to hand out bottles of water and play more music for fans as they left the venue.

A Reddit user explained that it was something that the Montreal band had done throughout the earlier part of their career, writing: "They used to do this all the time when they were starting out. I think they were still doing it during Neon Bible a bit. They’d all go out to the lobby and start jamming as people left. It was awesome."

Considering Arcade Fire's Irish gig this Wednesday takes place at Malahide Castle, it's unlikely that there'll be a repeat performance - but it's still set to be a great gig, nonetheless.
