The Castlepalooza festival is just a few weeks away, and more good stuff has just been added to this year's bill.

As well as some top musical acts including Field Music, Polica, Villagers, Cat Power, Caribou, Jurassic 5 and more, organisers have revealed the comedy and spoken word line-up.

In terms of spoken word, there's plenty on offer there, too - with Jim Carroll's hugely successful Banter series hosting chats, and Culture Vultures, hosted by Tony Clayton-Lea, offering a salon-style 'words & music' shindig. Line-ups for both will be announced closer to the time. The Scene of the Rhyme is a two-hour spoken word performance featuring the likes of Temper-Mental Miss-Elayneous, Lady Grew and more.

To top it all off, there'll be visual art in the form of Women of Note/Mna na Notaí photography exhibition, and work by Tag Beckett, Louise Gardner and more.
