It's wasn't a day that Robert Downey Jr. bounced from the funny sounding action film, Cowboys and Aliens, when Collider reported that Daniel Craig was in talks about replacing him.
Jon Favreau had already signed on to helm, when Downey bounced to concentrate on making Sherlock Holmes 2 instead. The prospect of two parallel franchises was obviously too much to resist for the Iron Man star, as Holmes approaches the magical $200 million mark at the domestic box-office.
Craig is currently shooting the Jim Sheridan thriller, Dreamhouse. Favreau meanwhile, will spend the next few months tweaking effects on Iron Man 2.
