Market Lane is an award winning restaurant and bar over two floors, where possible they use ingredients from The English Market and local artisan producers to make up a menu which has a wide range of fish, salads, meat, game and sandwiches, in addition to coeliac and vegetarian dishes and a healthy kids menu.

This place dishes up really delicious food that is excellent value for the quality of the meal. The menu is wide ranging enough to suit most tastes, but not so large as to leave you overwhelmed with choice. My only minor complaint would be that it's fairly crowded in there - a little extra elbow room between the tables wouldn't go astray.

Fab restaurant, really lovely venue and great, "traditional" food with a twist! Everything tastes fresh and is well cooked. It's quite good value too. It's always packed and the last time I checked they didn't take bookings for parties of less then 6, so be prepared!

This is a restaurant and bar laid out over two floors. The food is locally sourced, where possible, and very fresh and well prepared. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is very good.
