Kanum is an Irish family owned and operated establishment. There is a real family feel to Kanum with 5 cousins working front of house, husband and wife Thai chefs and also a husband and wife pairing in the prep kitchen. The idea to open Kanum came from the families collective love of Thai food and the lack of authentic Thai eateries in Dublin. Kanum is a ‘Thai Diner’ the first of its kind in Dublin, where customers can enjoy quality Thai food in a relaxed casual atmosphere.

  Scromptious thai food& 0ne of the best green curry i have ever tasted. It's a cross beetween a restaurant/cafe & take away in that we ordered out of the takeaway menu on the phone only to discover they had an eating area with 3 high benches & tools and 2 round tables. We decided to stay and have our food here so they gave us plates and cutlery at no extra cost. They opened last week so didn't have their alcohol license yet so they allowed us to bring our own bottle of wine. Now that's custumer service!! Open kitchen so you can see how clean it is & fresh the ingredients are. Would definitly come back. They have a restaurant in Ballsbridge.

  This is such a friendly place to eat and the food is fantastic! I never know what to order as everything is so tempting. They have meal deals also which are great value and even serve wine! Great place for catching up with friends on the weekend or grabbing a quick bite to eat on your lunch break. They also have a branch on mespil road and have stalls many markets in the city. I highly recommend this place!
