Their Falling Down Chocolate Pudding is 'outstanding' and 'upstanding'! The menu is varied and interesting, and the location ideal.

I used to never go to Jacob's unless I had been given a voucher or something as it was just too expensive. Now however, they are moving with the times and offering Specials. I went recently and really enjoyed the main meal. The dessert wasn't great though. The surroundings and artwork are lovely. I would go there again.

Great food, one of the best meals I've had in a long time but it is quite expensive. They did a special deal with 2 courses for €24 so one person got starter & main & I got main & dessert so got a sample of more food then. Lovely but as someone else said, you wouldn't be stuffed after it!

Recently we chose this restaurant for a work hen party, and the staff we so accomodating - no corkage on the bubbly we brought in & a two course meal for €24 - great atmosphere, great staff & more importantly, great food - well worth it!

Lovely setting, but at the prices it charges, expectations are higher than it delivers. I'd recommend going to Greens or somewhere like that instead for a nice evening out.

Stunning setting, lovely for a romantic meal - don't expect to be stuffed though! In my opinion it's a little over priced for what you get.

Relaxed ambience. The food is freshly prepared & the presentation is definately impressive, after all we eat with our eyes. An enjoyable experience over all. My only criticism would be that it was a little bit over-priced.

Nice building. I have eaten there many times and have had beautiful meals and truly blood awful stuff! Dont go on Valentine's Night unless you want to wait 90 minutes between courses. Not special enough to warrant the prices.

Lovely restaurant, really unique layout and building! The food is nice although nothing special, and it certainly doesn't come cheap. But it's OK for a special occasion/romantic dinner.
