Very spacious and confortable restaurant with a good atmosphere when full. Overpriced food store downstairs is nice to look at too. Food good if not exceptional, good wine selection. Worth a visit.

lovely place to eat, yet lighting a little harsh when we ate there last - would be nice if dimmed a little!

Their takeaway food really is excellent and not overpriced considering you get two large portions of salad aswell.

This is a fantastic restaurant, if a bit on the pricy side. The food is delicious and staff are more than happy to help you choose the best wine to match your dish should you wish. There is a good atmosphere and service is very efficient and staff are friendly. Other than the pricing my only other qulam would be having to walk through the foodstore to reach the retaurant but all in all this is a wonderfully pleasureable dining experience

Fallon & Byrne ... wine cellar downstairs is buzzing and staff know their wine! Upstairs the restaurant do a great pre theatre deal of 2 courses for 25€ with a great selection of veggie, steak and fish mains... just watch out for the subtle wine top ups - suddenly you realise you're onto another... and another... :)

Have not eaten in the main restaurant but frequent both wine bar and ground floor cafe. The deli food is fantastic, and can be eaten in the coffee shop, taken away hot or cold, or eaten downstairs in the wine bar. For a full hot meal early evening its probably one of the best value in town. If eating in the wine bar I would usually tend to go for this option as there is slightly more choice than on the wine bar menu, but having said that what I have seen and sampled from the wine bar menu has always been lovely.

Have been here 3 times and have been disappointed each time. Found the food to be ok but it is over priced. Staff can be a bit hit and miss. Was in for lunch one day and we were early but it still took 45 minutes to get a burger to the table. Not good enough. Has the potential to be great....but a ways off.

Great for lunch. Their soup and sandwich €7 deal is amazing value for such good food, just make sure you get there early or the choice can be limited. Lovely atmosphere downstairs.

Went to the restaurant upstairs on a Monday or a Tuesday so we had the place almost to ourselves and therefore didn't put the service to any real tests. Food was very nice. So was the wine. And obviously the service was quick and efficient.

Only was there for canapes. food was good but not great. way too much overpriced. enough for losing curiosity in trying the restaurant food. Food fair on the ground floor is good but not so good, and, again, too much overpriced.

Love love love this place for the wine bar and the deli. I have never eaten in the restaurant though but do intend to very soon. The wine bar downstairs is great for having a nice relaxing glass of wine and has a great ambiance most evenings of the week.

I am not a big fan of this establishment. The food I think is overpriced and not as delicious as I imagined. I have heard good reports about it so maybe I was unlucky when I tried it. The wine list was great on the other hand

Great wine, great cheese, but not so great vibes. I found it loud and the seating uncomfortable. The staff were friendly but the atmosphere was boring and stuffy with bad music :) I think it is quite overpriced too. Would not choose to go again.

Popped downstairs for the more relaxed lunch menu. Shared a cheese plate and Duck salad with Joan. Delicious, really really good, no pretentiousness at all about the downstairs staff. Very helpful. Beware however, as the trend is to get food from the deli counter on the ground floor (shop) and take it downstairs. I ate once in the upstairs restaurant, service really poor and very slow. Hence I'm subterranean since then

Well the cafe is lovely, but the restaurant is overpriced. I went there with my family and they got most of the orders wrong, the vegetables never turned up, they put cheese on a "plain" burger and then simply scrapped it off when we asked about it before making a new one. They apologised beautifully but unfortunately the damage was already done.

I used to work in a restaurant and one of the customers once told me this place had the nicest fresh food he's ever eaten so I had to check it out and it did not disappoint. It's a bit pricey, lunch is alright, dinner is unfortunately outside my budget

This is a perfectly good restaurant with lovely bread - the best restaurant bread I've ever had! - and good food. The staff is friendly and willing to cater to your every need! Now from a student's point of view : This place overwhelmed me with it's class. Most of my friends felt quite awkward and out of place in our hoodies and bags. The food was (too) pricey and the portions smaller than what I would have expected. It was a nice experience but maybe I'll return when I've got a job...
