Robert Plant has reformed one of his old musical projects. No, not Led Zeppelin as many would have hoped but Band of Joy, his first band with Led Zep colleague John Bonham. Zeppelin have been turning down festival offers (most recently the Download Festival) and now it appears that your only chance to catch any Led Zeppelin alumni will be with either Band of Horses or John Paul Jones' Them Crooked Vultures. A Band of Joy album is expected to be forthcoming also, Plant's first release since 2007's Grammy Award winning collaboration with Alison Krauss, Raising Sand. A Band of Joy US tour has been announced. Watch this space for any news regarding European dates.
