I had the pleasure of attending the Shutter Island junket and press conference last week in London, where I interviewed its stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Sir Ben Kingsley, while I also attended a small press conference attended by Mr Martin Scorsese. It's an extremely classy, effective production that showcases the great director having a lot of fun with the sort of material he had previously never attempted.

Whilst on the red carpet for The Berlin Film Festival where the film is screening, he spewed "Bob De Niro and I are talking about something that has to do with that world. There's no doubt about that. We're working on something like that, but it's from the vantage point of older men looking back, none of this running around stuff." It's thought that film will be I Heard You Paint Houses, about real life mobster Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran. De Niro and Scorsese together again? Maybe with a part for other muse DiCaprio? They had me at "talking."

Shutter Island is released in early March, while my interviews should be live the week before.
