The Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year Awards were on last night and you're not going to believe this, the guest list was pretty impressive. I'm not kidding. Even the X Factor contestants got an invite (pay particular attention to how scrumptious Matt looks), which no doubt will be shown on Saturday's show before each and every one of them perform. They'll be saying the usual "so we went to the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year Awards and Oh.My.God, we got to meet sooo many famous people and the cameras were flashing and they were calling my name. I felt like a super star, it made me more determined to win now as that could be what it will be like in the future..." bla, bla, bla. Cher could have thrown a frock on.

The ceremony is to celebrate the achievements of both celebrity and real life women (because celebs aren't real apparently), according to Cosmo itself. Fearne Cotton presented the ceremony and even managed to pick up the award for Ultimate Celebrity Who Made Us Care (not sure what we are supposed to have cared about, think it could be her charity for a trek around Peru or sumfink like that). Before everyone headed inside, a few celebs stopped to sign some autographs and do a few poses, not surprising Louie Spence was the first image that jumped out at me. Myleene Klass looked fabulous, avec bump but, Shayne Ward should learn how to stand, he looks very awkward. Kimberly Walsh (who WENN tagged as Nadine Coyle, ouch!) wore a lot of make-up and a not so nice dress. Her and Nicola must have shared the same stylist. What is this? It's funny that she won the award for Ultimate Fashionista too. I know she's had some great dresses in the past but on the night that she was due to pick up an award for fashion, I think she could have gone with more a more classic look. Since taking part in Dancing with the Stars, Michelle Williams has joined the growing list of personalities who now resemble stick men. Meanwhile, the latest casualty of the BBC One show Tina O'Brien showed up in a jump suit, enough said. Donna Air used some left over wallpaper from the 70's, while Kelly Brooke recycled an old tea cosy for their dresses. Speaking of recycled material, anyone missing a few bin bags? Eh, and here, I think, was the centrepiece for the tables *scratches head*.

Ultimate UK Music Star winner Alexandra Burke looked pretty hot, as did Louise Redknapp, but doesn't she always. Sheridan Smith was happy out to be there and Christine Bleakley looked exactly like she always does. Feel free to pass your own judgement on Jameela Jamil, Beverley Knight, Jessica Ennis (she's some sports star), Georgie Thompson, Linda Papadopoulos, Sheree Murphy, Scott Mills, Reggie Yates, Dizzie Rascal, Joe McElderry, Westlife and Zoe Salmon.
