Write a Book !
June 4th – 6.30pm – The Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway - FREE ADMISSION
For 11 years now, The Galway Education Centre has hosted the annual Write A Book Awards Ceremony for the schoolchildren of Galway City and County! Over the past 10 years, thousands of schoolchildren from hundreds of schools in the county have composed, written, illustrated, bound and presented over 20,000 books! On Monday June 4th 2012, 250 children – chosen from over 5,000 entries received, will attend with their works of art….

Medtronic KNEX Challenge!
June 5th – 6pm – The Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway - FREE ADMISSION
Up to 24 teams will take part in the live Medtronic KNEX Challenge which will see primary school children complete exceptional tasks which will be judged on the level of engineering, innovation and communication displayed by the teams.. . expect noise, lights and lots of action. . .

Junior FIRST Lego League
June 6th – 6pm – The Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway - FREE ADMISSION
In June 2011, the Galway Education Centre introduced the first ever Junior FIRST Lego League final to Ireland and 450 six to nine year old Biomedical Engineers took part in the final! This year even more youngsters are expected to turn up to take part, to watch the live challenges and to just play with LEGO in The Radisson Blu Hotel in Galway.

All are welcome and admission is free!
