Funtasia Waterpark invites YOU! to the launch of our incredible World of War exhibition on Saturday May 12th and Sunday May 13th! Funtasia has joined forces with the Irish Military War Museum to present this fascinating collection of military memorabilia from major historical events, including the 1916 Rising and the War of Independence, plus the world changing conflicts of WW1, WW2, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

At our launch weekend we will have battle re-enactors recreating scenes from the Second World War including a field hospital and an on site battle field report. Tanks and heavy military equipment will be on display outside the Waterpark. Inside the military exhibition features over 100 different pieces of (decommissioned) equipment including jeeps, Browning machine guns, World War Two motorbikes and push bikes plus Swiss Army dispatch riders. Gamers will be have the chance to handle the type of (decommissioned) weaponry including Lewis Guns, Mauser Gewehr’s and MG42’s, that they could normally only play with in games like Call Of Duty.

Funtasia's World of War exhibition runs every weekend from launch in May until 1st July.
All proceeds from our launch weekend will go to The Irish Wheelchair Association.
