Wyclef Jean might have disappeared off the charts, however there's a pretty good reason for that.

His charity, Yele, was embroiled in a massive corruption scandal in 2012 which saw over $16,000,000 lost in the space of just two years. The charity reportedly spent $37,000 on renting a studio space in Manhattan for the singer, $375,000 on landscaping for its office and according to official audits of the charity's accounts, at least $256,000 was used improperly by both Wyclef Jean and members of the charity's board.

So, for whatever reason, maybe because his new album hasn't been selling well, he decided to take part in a Reddit AMA. For those that don't know, AMA stands for Ask Me Anything. Essentially, you're pitched questions of any kind from users. Needless to say, Wyclef's AMA session didn't go well. At all.

The opening post, by Wyclef, read like a summary of his work and his various influences and projects, including The Fugees' and his work with Shakira. The post signed off with "So please, Reddit. Ask me anything!"

Here's the most upvoted question on the thread, which unsurprisingly, Wyclef hasn't answered.

It got worse. Much, much worse.

Surprisingly, Wyclef had a response for this particular question, which read:

He didn't, however, respond to this:

Or this:

Or even this:

Like we said, it was bad. Really, really bad. You can follow the entire thread here, but in the meantime, let's listen to the Fugees and think back to a time when Wyclef wasn't a thieving scumbag.
