The line-up for the Whelan's Live stage at Longitude has been announced, with a number of up-and-coming names on this year's bill.

The stage made its debut at the festival last year, when the Dublin venue was celebrating its 25th birthday - and it was such a success that it's returning for a second time.

On the bill are Wolf Alice, Nick Mulvey, Girl Band, Drenge and Slaves.

Joining them are the likes of Benjamin Booker, Gengahr, Josef Salvat, The Districts, Haelos, The Bohicas, Otherkin, Spies and Dublin band Princess, who will play their final show at the festival.

Level Heads, Madison Front and The Dead Sets will also play the stage - three young acts who were chosen as the winners in a recent Battle of the Bands competition at The Grainstore in Cabinteely, Dublin.

Tickets for Longitude are on sale from usual outlets now.
