Want to get your band in the studio for free? Anglesea Lane Studios are offering bands a chance to win 5 free hours of recording assistance in the Challenge 126 Band Competition.
As you may know, our very own Mike Sheridan along with Spin 103.8's Brian Maher will run 126 miles in one day in aid of Special Olympics Ireland, one mile for each of Ireland's 126 Special Olympics athletes.
The winning band will receive 5 hours of recording assistance with David O’Reilly at Anglesea Lane Studios, and their single will be prominently featured on eircom MusicHub for 1 week. In addition the band will play in a prime location on Grafton Street, Dublin on Friday April 27th as Spin 103.8 presenter Brian Maher and Mike Sheridan from entertainment.ie complete their Challenge 126 which will see them run 126 miles in one day in aid of Special Olympics Ireland.
To enter bands are invited to submit a 3 minute performance video on www.facebook.com/eircomMusicHub and then invite their fans to vote for their submission on this page. Voting will close on Saturday 21st April and the top 5 most popular videos at 12.00 (GMT) on this date will form the shortlist of finalists.
The shortlist will be reviewed by a panel of judges including Brian Maher (Spin 103.8), Mike Sheridan (entertainment.ie), and David O’Reilly (Anglesea Lane Studios) and the winner will be announced on 24th April 2012.
