Barack Obama is already known for his good taste in music - he's sung Al Green in public in the past, hosted a private Prince gig at The White House, and has spoken of his love of acts like OutKast and The Black Keys, too.

Now, the President of the USA has revealed what he's listening to over the summer, linking to two Spotify playlists that show he's got fairly decent taste in music.

'Volume 1: Summer Day' features the likes of Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, The Temptations, Sly and the Family Stone, Florence and the Machine and even indie band Okkervil River.

His 'Summer Night' playlist, on the other hand, has songs by the likes of Al Green, Van Morrison, Ray Charles, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Miles Davis, Otis Redding and Nina Simone. It also features  a track by American-Irish singer Aoife O'Donovan.

Both can be listened to on Spotify at this link.
