You may recall a film where Michael Sheen played a character that wasn't Tony Blair or a vampire. That was the really, really good Frost/Nixon. Hitting the Galway stage is the Irish premiere of the play version performed by Galway's newest drama grou, Cairde MOL.

Anyone who watches Parks and Recreation will recognise lead actress Jenny Slate, who plays Mona-Lisa in the show - Jean-Ralphio's sister - and so will know that Obvious Child has promise. The film follows a wannabe comedienne in her twenties whose unexpected pregnancy forces her to rethink her life.
