Norwegian born, Swedish based Ane Brun released her second single 'Worship' from her recent, highly acclaimed album It All Starts With One at the beginning of the month. The song, a duet with fellow Scandinavian Jose Gonzalez, is one of the highlights of an album which has been the recipient of high praise.

The Magnetic Fields - Olympia Theatre

The Magnetic Fields have long been one of the most enigmatic bands around and, in Stephen Merritt, have a true master craftsman at their helm. Saturday night's show in the Olympia will be a stunner meaning that, as you'd expect, tickets are like gold dust.

Bombay Bicycle Club - Olympia Theatre

English rockers Bombay Bicycle Club return to our shores for a show on Monday night in The Olympia, having recently been seen (well, about a year ago) delivering a stonker of a set at the inaugural Forbidden Fruit festival in Kilmainham. In that year, things have gone from good to great for the London quartet. Expect great things on Monday night.

Tuesday

Will Stratton and Paleo Double Header - The Grand Social

American singer songwriters play their debut Irish show. Sufjan Stevens has played on Stratton's albums and he has been described as "Sufjan Stevens fingerpicked by Nick Drake" while Paleo is an off the wall touring junkie who holds a world record for writing 365 songs in one year. Support comes from Lisa McLaughlin.
