If you're a music fan of a certain age, certain music videos act as milestones in your memory - for us, Michael Jackson's 'Bad' was a video to remember.

You may recall how one Wesley Snipes got his big break in the 1982 video (which was directed by Martin Scorsese, no less) - but now Snipes has revealed some interesting backstory on how he got the role.

Speaking on Conan the other night, he revealed that he essentially stole the role from Prince - something that has been rumoured for some time.

"Me and Prince were auditioning together, and I blew Prince out of the water," he said. "Michael had told Prince that he had the role, and then he met me."

Although Conan was dubious about his claim, he insisted: "It's a true story; Prince was considered the lead character in the Bad video, and Michael met me and kicked Prince to the kerb", adding that when Jackson first met him, he thought that he was really in a gang.

He also said that he was recently approached for a selfie by Jackson's son, Prince Michael:
