The Strypes made their most high profile TV appearance to date last night at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in Manhattan where they played their song 'What A Shame' on the Late Show with David Letterman and Dave, well, he seemed pretty damn impressed.
Watch the video above and see our newest national treasures rock up a blimmin' storm and look suitably unaffected and bona fide rockstar-like when Letterman comes over to them when they're finished with a big smiley head on him exclaiming his praises.
The Strypes are slowly but surely building up a pretty solid fanbase on the other side of the Atlantic. The Cavan teenagers have made regular appearances on the airwaves in the States and have even scored a slot on a high profile Harley Davidson television commercial which we're sure is padding their piggy banks no end.
We just wonder if the lads will take Dave up on his offer of a game of Laser Tag?
