Believe it or not the annoyingly catchy song in question was recorded twenty years ago and only now has the singer explained why she referenced Pitt.

She was talking to Billboard at Spotify HQ to promote her upcoming new album when a question about the longevity of his career came up.

Here’s how she responded:

That Don’t Impress Me Much reached the top ten in fifteen countries and was the eighth highest selling single of 1999 when it was released. If you’ve forgotten how it went (impossible) then here’s a quick reminder:
