The friendship between Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters has been well-documented over the years, but Josh Homme's band paid tribute to his fellow rockers in a musical manner over the weekend.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl famously drummed with QOTSA for a period, and they're apparently still close as Grohl invited the band to play the rock-oriented CalJam festival over the weekend.

You may have already seen footage of Liam Gallagher crowdsurfing at the festival, but Queens of the Stone Age arguably trumped that clip by slipping one of the Foos' best known songs into their set.
