Katy Perry's stint on American Idol has already generated a few headlines - like her sly dig at Taylor Swift, her clumsy trip and the controversy generated when she kissed a contestant without his permission.
It's no wonder, then, that her own parents turned up on the most recent episode to call their daughter 'mouthy'.
Mary-Christine and Keith Hudson appeared on the show and were asked by host Ryan Seacrest what they made of Katy's skills as a judge. "She's still mouthy," her mother said. "Well, she's a middle child and they always want the most attention."
