It's hard to believe that movie star Mark Wahlberg was once a hip-shimmying hip-hopper with The Funky Bunch these days, but the actor temporarily returned to his musical roots the other night.

Wahlberg - or Marky Mark, as he was then known - joined his brother Donnie's band New Kids on the Block (yes, they're still a thing) at their New York show at Madison Square Garden the other night.

While he didn't perform, he did stand around and shake a lot of hands and hug people while The Funky Bunch's 'Good Vibrations' was playing in the background. So, y'know, that almost counts as a performance.

Wahlberg was one of several special guests that NKOTB brought out on stage - 50 Cent and American actor/singer Rotimi also made appearances.
