He's conquered the acting world, and now Jeff Goldblum is the latest actor to venture into the music business as he has announced his debut album for release later this year.

What's more, the Hollywood star has had a little helping hand from one of our own.

Speaking to our own Mike Sheridan on the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom junket, he revealed that the one and only Imelda May had worked alongside him on it. "I just made a jazz record this last week, and you know who sang a couple of songs on it? Imelda May."

He continued: "She's spectacular. I think she's the most loveliest creature on earth and the most talented musician I've ever heard", before referring to her as an "international treasure."

It seems that the feeling was mutual, as after we pointed his comments out to Imelda on Twitter, she had this to say:

Imelda can now add Jeff to her growing list of celeb fans - even Bob Dylan has publicly declared his admiration for her in the past. Not bad going for a gal from the Liberties, all in all.
