As fans of Disney’s hit movie, Frozen, will no doubt know, the animated feature is headed from screen to stage in a Broadway spectacular.

The show is now previewing in the St James Theatre in New York and to mark the occasion, songs that have been written especially for the show are now available to listen to.

Fans of the movie needn’t fear these new additions will take away from the original for they are written by the songwriting team behind the Disney movie - Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The husband-wife songwriting team won an Oscar for their epic Frozen balled ‘Let It Go’ and won a second Oscar for the song ‘Remember Me’ for Coco at the most recent Academy Awards.

The latest song to be unveiled by Disney for the Frozen musical is ‘True Love’. Princess Anna (played by Patti Murin in the show) sings the big solo late in Act Two when she is abandoned by Hans and left to freeze to death after accidentally being cursed by her sister.

Three other new songs that Disney previously released online include ‘Monster’, an emotional ballad for Elsa (played by Caissie Levy), a light-hearted duet for Anna and Kristoff (Jelani Alladin) called ‘What Do You Know About Love?’, and ‘Dangerous to Dream’, which has been described as an ‘I Want’ song for Elsa. See if you can guess where they’d come in the movie.
