The multiple 'Popstars' contestant/winner and infamous passport mislayer is back with a Girls Aloud-esque banger.

The pop world post-Girls Aloud's demise, while not devoid of female-led hits (thank you Ariana, Dua Lipa, Little Mix et al.), hasn't exactly had the same energy that it used to and in a world where Ed Sheeran's entire album can fill the top 20 places in the charts, it makes you pine for the days of old when a song had a hook and a chorus and nothing else.

Enter Nadine Coyle, fresh from the West Coast of America and her pub, Nadine's Irish Mist, to remind us of just how good the old days were and how good they can still be.

Coyle has teamed up with Girls Aloud's old producer Brian Higgins on 'Go To Work' which is pop by the numbers in the best possible way, with a video to match and best of all, not a tropical house beat in sight.

Welcome back, Nadine. We missed you.
