It was unquestionably last year's biggest song (screw you, 'Blurred Lines'!) but it's taken until now for Nile Rodgers to play a live rendition of one of his biggest ever hits: 'Get Lucky'. Rodgers and Chic did so at a show in France last weekend, marking the first time that the song has been played in full live by either Rodgers or Daft Punk. Previously, and as was the case with Chic and Nile Rodgers' set at Forbidden Fruit 2013, they opted to play the recorded version of the song over the PA as the band made their exit from the stage.

The song, which was the centrepiece of Daft Punk's Random Access Memories record last year, reached the Top Ten in 32 different countries and sold just shy of 10 million units. Not only that, it also won the Grammy awards for Record of the Year and Best Duo/Group Performance marking at as one of the biggest hits in both Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers' career to date.

Let's just hope that Chic and Nile keep it in their set by the time Electric Picnic rolls around at the end of the summer, eh?
