They may have treated their Scottish fans to a short impromptu jam as they were leaving the Edinburgh Corn Exchange last week, but Irish Arcade Fans got an even bigger treat last night.

The Montreal band played Malahide Castle last night, but it seems that they weren't finished with the evening as after the gig ended at 10.30pm, they headed into the city - more specifically, to Whelan's, where whisperings of an aftershow gig had been rumoured.

Sure enough, the Canadians turned up to play a short acoustic set, while frontman Win Butler was even seen spinning a few tunes in the DJ box.
